Swiss Conference on the Future of Museums
This April Europe’s major conference on the future of museums will be taking place in the Swiss city of Geneva. The conference will bring together leading experts from around the world to look at how museums are adapting to rapid change.
This our first Swiss Conference on the Future of Museums will span four venues, included more than 50 presentations, 13 workshops and prestigious social events in the Musée d’Art et d’histoire and across more than 20 museums and galleries the cities cultural district.
The conference will be opened by the Mayor of Geneva, with keynote from respected Museum Directors and industry experts. These include Frédérique Jamolli, Head of International Cultural Development for the International Olympic Museum and Gail Lord, Co-President of Lord Cultural Resources.
MuseumNext started in 2008 in the United Kingdom and has grown to be one of the biggest museum conferences in Europe, attracting delegates from around the world for innovation, inspiration and networking.

Each year the event has grown bigger, and with four venues across the city, workshops, tours and social events this years conference in Switzerland is our most ambitious to date’.
