MuseumNext to return to New York in 2018
MuseumNext is a global conference series on the future of museums. Since 2009, it has brought together museum leaders from around the world to ask ‘what’s next for museums?’
MuseumNext will be returning to New York City in 2018 with a two day conference on ‘designing the future of museums’. This is the fourth time that the conference is taking place in the United States, and we expect this event to sell out well ahead of the event.
MuseumNext’s found Jim Richardson said, ‘Design is an essential tool for museums wishing to create remarkable experiences for their visitors, and I’m looking forward to seeing how our community approach this theme’.
The conference brings speakers from around the world to New York, with the opening keynote presented by Noah Raford from the Museum of the Future in Dubai. Other speakers for the conference include museum professionals, designers and technologists from Europe, Australia and North America.
MuseumNext New York City 2018 will take place at Broad Street Ballroom in Manhattan on 1 – 2 November 2018.
This gives delegates the opportunity to not only experience two inspiring days of conference, but also Halloween which takes place the night before the conference and marathon weekend the two days following MuseumNext.
‘Delegates should come to New York for the inspiration, innovation and networking that MuseumNext offers’ said Jim Richardson, ‘But putting the conference between these two events gives delegates even more reasons to make it to New York’.
