More speakers announced for 2019 Australian Museum Conference
In April 2019 MuseumNext Sydney will take place at the Australian National Maritime Museum.
This is our third event in Australia and following the success of editions held in Melbourne and Brisbane, the event has been selling extremely quickly.
Once again the conference will feature an exciting line up of speakers from around the world, with museum directors, educators, innovators and more sharing their take on ‘Play in Museums’.
Highlights will include keynote presentations from Scott Stulen, the American Museum Director responsible for inventing the ‘Internet Cat Video Festival’ and Michael John Gorman the founder of Science Gallery International and now Founding Director of Biotopia in Germany.

Jim Richardson, Founder of MuseumNext said, ‘MuseumNext Sydney is looking like an unmissable event with a fantastic theme (play) and a great line up of international museum leaders. More than 100 people signed up for the event in the first 10 days and we expect the event to sell out way ahead of April’.
MuseumNext is an international conference series on the future of museums, with events taking place annually in cultural capitals around the world.
MuseumNext Sydney will take place at the Australian National Maritime Museum and tickets are now available for this event.
