Film: Building a new children’s Museum in South Africa

With Play Africa Gretchen Wilson-Prangley is building a new children’s museum in South Africa. Working on a shoestring budget, they have successfully created a model for building an agile museum that creates original content to serve the needs of the communities it serves.

The museum aims to offer every child an educational experience worthy of his or her potential, to nourish a sense of belonging, and to engage and inspire all visitors to dream about the possibilities inside themselves, their families and their communities.

Play Africa is an inspiring story of what can be achieved when passion and hard work come together. CEO Gretchen Wilson-Prangley shares case studies, frameworks and ideas from this unique museum.

Gretchen Wilson-Prangley spoke about Building an New Children’s Museum in South Africa at MuseumNext London 2018.
