Tiqets launches all-new Travel Industry Trends report for the 2022 High Season

After two summers of restrictions, trepidation and limitations, we are finally seeing people getting on planes, trains and automobiles again with a spirit of adventure and freedom. High season 2022 is set to be a busy one, with people all around the world looking to make up for the trips and experiences they’ve missed out on over the past two years. In response to this, many museums and cultural attractions are preparing for a big summer with an array of exhibitions, activities and festivities planned to welcome their valued visitors back.

While a busy season is more than welcome, it also puts pressure on museums and other venues to make the most of this golden opportunity. That’s why innovative ticketing platform Tiqets has dedicated its expertise and resources to developing a new report designed to help cultural institutions reap the rewards of the summer period. Through their new Must-Know Travel Industry Trends for the 2022 High Season report, Tiqets aims to provide guidance and insight that will inform marketing activities, pricing strategies and more.

Introducing its new marketing plan, Tiqets states:

“We polled 2,000 people across the US between the ages of 18 and 65 who travel for business, pleasure, and hybrid combinations of both. We learned exactly what they like to do, when they like to do it, how far they plan ahead, how much they’re apt to spend on museums and attractions – and how all of these preferences break down for particular generations.”

Bringing together evidence, expert advice and hard statistics, this downloadable plan takes the pressure out of summer museum marketing by giving you the tools to create a clear framework for success. Within the Travel Industry Trends report, users will find information on how travellers from different generations are approaching buying decisions, as well as detailed analysis of what they prefer to do, and when. There is also information on the most effective upselling opportunities and “value-adds”, as well as secret audiences you might not have on your radar.

Importantly, this guide also breaks down the differing requirements of audiences by age demographic: with particular insight into how tastes and preferences differ between Gen Z, Millennials, Baby Boomers and Gen X

The scope and insight included in this easy-to-access guide make it a must-read for any museums looking to make the most of the incoming High Season.
