Lyndsey set up a freelance consultancy in 2011 to help more organisations create outstanding exhibitions, interpretation and engagement projects. She works with clients to help them to create relevant, audience-focused exhibitions with engaging narratives that reflect the clients’ unique collections and aims. She works with a wide range of clients including National Museums, Botanic Gardens, independent visitor attractions, historic properties and community groups. She has particular experience in developing interactive and digital interpretation working with a wide variety of developers and fully incorporating user-testing and evaluation as part of this process.
Prior to launching her freelance business, Lyndsey worked for eleven years in two National Museum groups (Science Museum Group and National Museums Scotland). She has experience working with both Scottish and English school systems, she has an MSc in science communication (Imperial College London), and a PgDip in sustainable development including sustainable tourism and community development.
