Who are we? We are a service agent that help European museums to enrich their Chinese visitor journey via China’s most popular mobile application, WeChat.
What is WeChat?
WeChat is a so-called mobile “superapp”, it has many different features and 1.1 Billion Chinese use it on a daily basis. Features include amongst more: messaging, calling, paying, social media, and browsing app-in-apps. It basically is a combination of mobile apps we know (e.g. Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, banking apps), but then all-in-one!
Why do we do what we do? Since the outbound tourism market of China is growing rapidly (the expectation is that it entails 220 Million Chinese in 2020) and will keep growing the coming years, the potential of this market is huge. Thereby, on average Chinese tourists spent more than double the amountthat other tourists spent. However, as their language and behavioural habits are so different than we are used to in the Western world it can be difficult to get the most out of this tourism-consumer-group and educate them in the right manner.
What do we offer you?
In order to help you in creating an enriched Chinese visitor journey, we offer customized “WeChat Mini Programs”. A Mini Program is a so-called app-in-app, meaning that it is your own dedicated online environment inside WeChat. Having this online presence in the Chinese No. 1 most used mobile application, WeChat, is a great way to engage with them.
This WeChat Mini Program is build in the cloud by means of a content management system in a simple to use interface. This means you can easily adjust items yourself if you wish to do so.
