Digital Exhibitions Summit

Call for Speakers

December 11-12, 2023

The Deadline for submissions has now passed.

MuseumNext, a global conference on the future of museums since 2009, highlights best practices and envisions the museums of tomorrow.

In December, we’re hosting the MuseumNext Digital Exhibitions Summit, focusing on the indispensable role of digital in exhibitions. We’ll explore the future of digital exhibitions, discussing topics like the latest tools and techniques, artificial intelligence, accessibility, immersive experiences, taking collections beyond museum walls, and personalisation.

A few subjects which you might wish to discuss?

– What does artificial intelligence mean for museum exhibitions?
– What are the latest digital tools and techniques for exhibitions?
– How can museums create immersive experiences?
– How can we make our exhibitions accessible to more people with digital?
– How are you rethinking your museums online exhibitions?
– How can digital take your collections beyond the museum’s walls?
– How can we bring personalisation into our exhibitions?
– How are museums using AR and VR successfully in exhibitions?

Or you may have your own ideas.

We welcome presentations on digital exhibitions from across the museum sector, but we’d encourage businesses looking to speak at the event to partner with a museum on a proposal.

Presentation Format

MuseumNext follows a fast-paced, twenty-minute presentation format, emphasising practice over theory.
