Digital Manager
National Portrait Gallery

A highly technical multi skilled hands-on digital manager with exceptional skills in HTML, CSS, and accessibility with a strong ethos of analytically based decisions when creating digital products, with a proven ability in managing large scale websites. Working for over 10 years managing websites to increase audience engagement, using both technical and non-technical skills to produce websites that fit both user and business requirements.

While at the National Portrait Gallery I have been managing the main website as well as building microsites for large scale projects and exhibitions such as Hold Still which won the Museums and Heritage award for Best Use of Digital in 2020 and our Portrait competitions Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize and BP Portrait Award. We have recently explored the use of virtual exhibitions during lockdown and how we can bring an exhibition experience directly to your device while continuously monitoring these for best practices and how our audiences are engaging with this technology.
