Fresh ideas from museums around the globe in your inbox each week
Tin Nguyen is an Australian artist and creative technologist based in New York, working as Tin & Ed. Their practice explores the intersection of art, science, and technology through interactive installations, digital worlds, and participatory experiences.
Their work has been presented internationally at institutions including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Getty Center in Los Angeles, the Barbican Centre in London, and the ArtScience Museum in Singapore. Their projects invite audiences to explore complex ideas through play, curiosity, and creativity, often focusing on our relationship to the natural world.
Their recent work explores how creativity can deepen engagement with science and culture. They are currently developing an iPad-based drawing experience where users paint directly onto 3D objects, exploring themes such as the Great Barrier Reef, deep time, and cultural artifacts.
Tin Nguyen will be speaking at the Digital Exhibitions Summit 2026 :
This talk shares an ongoing project exploring drawing as a way of engaging with exhibitions.
Tin & Ed discuss their work with museums and schools, creating digital and physical installations that invite audiences to explore collections through making rather than viewing. Their current project, an iPad-based experience where users draw onto 3D objects, is used as a case study to reflect on drawing as a form of thinking, how it can give audiences a sense of agency, and how digital tools can extend exhibitions beyond the museum into schools and the home.
