MuseumNext, a global conference on the future of museums since 2009, highlights best practices and explores what’s next for the sector.
In December, we’re hosting the MuseumNext Digital Learning Summit, exploring how digital is transforming learning and education in museums. This event will examine how museums are responding to shifts in digital education, from hybrid learning and global audiences to accessibility, emerging technologies, and new revenue opportunities.
We’ll look at how digital learning is reshaping the way museums engage learners—both onsite and online—and how educators are adapting their practice in an increasingly connected and technology-driven world.

We welcome presentations on digital learning from across the museum sector, but we’d encourage businesses looking to speak at the event to partner with a museum on a proposal.
MuseumNext follows a fast-paced, twenty-minute presentation format, emphasising practice over theory.
All talks must be pre-recorded to ensure high-quality presentations and minimise technical difficulties. Speakers should be available for live Q&As if time zones permit (event runs 12pm – 5pm London time zone).
All presentations must be in English.

Our conference peer panel will review all proposals and curate the event program.
We will respond to all applicants.
Pre-recorded talks will be required by 20 November 2026 to allow for captioning, use in marketing and tech checks.
