Chloé Houde is a recent graduate of the Master of Museum Studies program at the University of Toronto, having previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Public History at Concordia University and a Diploma of College Studies in Liberal Arts.

Chloé is interested in exploring how people interact with their histories, how this occurs through informal learning, and how museums can be spaces for change. Her work at Myseum allows her to participate in disseminating Toronto’s diverse histories in meaningful ways, often focusing on lesser-told narratives, and making these stories accessible in a variety of formats for various audiences.

Good Things / Small Packages: TikTok and the rise of short-form video

Nowadays, most attention spans are like snowflakes; unique, beautiful….and small. With this realization, we at Myseum of Toronto have developed a strategy to create short form content from longer form programs and stories. Using TikTok as a main example, we’ll share our learnings, successes, and show you how making shorter form content is way easier than the #milkcratechallenge.
