Omar Mashaal

Omar is a Digital Engineer whose work focuses on performance, user experience, scalability and sustainability. His unique approach has led him to develop a variety of modern arts focused platforms, integrations, and tools. He has experience engineering (and re-engineering) museum and festival infrastructure from the ground up, and is driven to create ultra-modern user experiences and ultra-functional user interfaces.

He has recently led the direction and development of the Museum of Old and New Art’s digital ticketing re-platforming, and is currently working on digital programming, ticketing, and user experience for the inaugural Rising festival in Melbourne in 2021.
