Edinburgh Festival Hub

Our home in Edinburgh is perhaps the most beautiful and unusual conference venue that we’ve visited.

This former Victorian Church is the home to the world famous Edinburgh International Festival. It stands at the entrance to Edinburgh Castle in the old town and is surrounded by cobbled streets, independent shops and little bars.

You’ll find a number of museums including the National Museum of Scotland and the Scottish National Gallery nearby.

Travelling to Edinburgh

As a major tourist destination, Edinburgh is well connected both within Europe and further afield.

Edinburgh International Airport is approximately 30 minutes outside of the city and a bus service leaves every 10 minutes providing a cheap and easy route into the city.

Edinburgh railway station is well connected to the rest of the UK with trains to London every 30 minutes.

Staying in Edinburgh

Edinburgh has a broad range of accommodation options from 5 star hotels through to hostels. You’ll also find lots of fantastic options on Airbnb.

As the conference is outside of the main tourist season, we expect accommodation to be reasonably priced and with the pound battered by Brexit, there has never been a better time to visit the UK.
