Call for Speakers

THE CALL FOR SPEAKERS HAS NOW CLOSED

MuseumNext is excited to announce the Museums & Public Programs Summit, a two-day virtual event scheduled for June 2026. This summit aims to explore innovative strategies for designing and delivering public programs that captivate audiences, foster lifelong learning, and strengthen community connections.

We are seeking dynamic speakers to present 20-minute talks on topics including, but not limited to:

  • Developing programs that engage diverse audiences
  • Integrating technology to enhance public programming
  • Collaborating with communities to co-create meaningful experiences
  • Evaluating the impact of public programs on audience engagement
  • Addressing inclusivity and accessibility in program design
  • Aligning public programs with the museum’s mission and goals
  • Case studies of successful public programming initiatives
  • Strategies for sustaining audience interest and participation

We welcome proposals from museum professionals, educators, cultural innovators, and thought leaders worldwide. Businesses interested in presenting are encouraged to partner with museums or cultural institutions for joint presentations.

Presentation Format

MuseumNext follows a fast-paced, 20-minute presentation format, focusing on actionable insights and real-world examples. Presentations will be pre-recorded to ensure high quality and minimize technical issues. Speakers should be available for live Q&A sessions during the event, subject to time zone availability (the event runs from 12 pm to 5 pm London time). All presentations must be delivered in English.

You can download our speakers guide with example presentations here.

Deadline: March 31, 2026

Our peer review panel will curate the event program and notify all applicants early April. Pre-recorded talks will be required by June 9, 2026, to allow for captioning, marketing, and technical checks.

Join us in exploring how museums can create impactful public programs that resonate with audiences and foster community engagement.
