Laura Jones

Laura Jones studied Art History and English at university and then launched herself into teaching in schools in Cambridge, London, and Barcelona.

After moving to New Zealand, she combined her two passions, art and teaching into one role by becoming the Art Educator at the Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa Tongarewa.

She’s doing what she loves best, designing learning programmes that help images and objects come to life, exploring new, sometimes subversive narratives around display and inspiring deep connections between audience and object.
