Sophie Sage is an Interpretation Producer at Young V&A who specialises in Family Interpretation. Having worked in the organisation for 10 years she has developed a keen understanding of the audience and their needs.
Sophie has worked on the redevelopment of Young V&A for 6 years – from project initiation to completion. She held a dual role for the final three years of the redevelopment, working both as Lead Curator for the Play Gallery and Interpretation Producer for all three new galleries. Now the project is complete she now focuses on Family Interpretation across the permanent galleries and temporary exhibitions, developing AV, interactives and graphics, among other things.
Sophie has an MA in Museum Studies from University of Leicester and an undergraduate degree in Contemporary History also from University of Leicester. Before her current role in Interpretation she worked on the Young V&A temporary and touring exhibitions as Exhibitions Manager.
