Emma Lee leads the ArtScience Museum’s Education team in forming collaborations with key stakeholders such as Ministry of Education, National Institute of Education and Early Childhood Development Agency to contribute to the education ecosystem in Singapore. Emma is passionate about interdisciplinary education.
Her education mandate embraces the idea of open-endedness and that knowledge is best acquired through self-discovery and hands-on experiments.
Prior to joining ArtScience Museum, Emma worked at Science Centre Singapore where she was responsible for incorporating STEAM elements into the Centre’s children programmes, whilst building creative confidence amongst its young visitors.
Emma has presented at various international conferences and events organised by China Science Festival, Asia Pacific Network of Science and Technology Centres and European Network of Science Centres & Museum.

A Year of Mental Well-Being
In 2022, ArtScience Museum will be launching the season of mental health and wellbeing to generate awareness and conversations on topics relating to mental health. The Exhibitions and Education teams at ArtScience Museum will share how ArtScience Museum is raising awareness and initiating conversations on mental health and wellbeing, via a series of carefully curated exhibitions and programmes. By drawing on scientific knowledge and the emotional impact brought about by artworks and exhibited content, this upcoming season of mental health and wellbeing at ArtScience Museum aims to create a climate of healing for its visitors.
