Play Africa: Disrupting with Children
Founder & CEO, Play Africa
Play Africa is the first world-class children’s museum in sub-Saharan Africa. Working on a shoestring budget, they have successfully created a model of a well-networked, agile, relevant and low-cost museum that creates original content to serve the needs of the communities it serves.
The museum aims to offer every child an educational experience worthy of his or her potential, to nourish a sense of belonging, and to engage and inspire all visitors to dream about the possibilities inside themselves, their families and their communities.
Play Africa is an inspiring story of what can be achieved when passion and hard work come together. CEO Gretchen Wilson-Prangley will share case studies, frameworks and ideas from this unique museum.
