Are you passionate about storytelling that is focused on audiences? Then this exciting opportunity to work on the Museum of London’s new museum at West Smithfield could be for you. As an Audience and Interpretation Lead on the project, your exhibition development skills will be central to providing inspirational experiences for a range of audiences.
We are looking for someone with a track record of working on the development of high quality displays in museums, galleries or visitor attractions, ensuring that they provide rich, engaging and accessible experiences for priority audiences. You will have experience of working closely and collaboratively with curators, designers and other team members to develop creative approaches to content and interpretation. Understanding of audience motivations, needs and research will be critical, as will be experience of developing effective interactive exhibits, producing engaging text, and involving audiences in content development. This is a large and complex project, so the successful candidate will be highly organised with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
