Corporate Development Manager

The National Portrait Gallery houses a unique collection of all forms of portraiture of the people who have made or are currently contributing to British history and culture; the collection is the most comprehensive of its kind in the world. With around 2 million visitors each year and a strong national and international presence through touring exhibitions and special projects, the Gallery is one of the country’s most important and popular galleries.

The National Portrait Gallery is looking for a Corporate Development Manager to manage major multi-year sponsorship accounts, research and cultivate new corporate leads, and liaise across departments and across seniority levels within the Gallery.

This is an exciting time at the Gallery, as we prepare to undertake our most ambitious capital project since the Gallery’s opening. The Corporate Development Manager will be integral for helping seek, structure and steward new sponsorships ahead of the Gallery’s relaunch in 2023.

We are looking for ambitious candidates who have substantial experience of successfully raising charitable funds from the corporate sector or experience in marketing and sales. They will have experience of initiating opportunities to maximise fund raising revenue. The successful candidate will be target driven and self motivated with the ability to work in partnership both with corporate clients and colleagues within the Gallery.
