The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within OnFife for the post of Curator (Engagement). The Curator will manage a new engagement project called Flooring the World – the Fife Linoleum Industry.

Funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund, the Curator will work closely with linoleum workers and other people on collecting, caring for, interpreting and making accessible our internationally significant linoleum collection.

The Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund is run by the Museums Association, funding projects that develop collections to achieve social impact.

About You

You will have at least 1-3 years of relevant Museums/Galleries experience and a postgraduate qualification in Museums/Heritage is desirable. Experience of engagement with people to make collections and activities relevant is essential.

Due to travel requirements in this role, it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence.
