Digital Marketing & Insights Manager

BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art creates and produces exhibitions, events, content and learning opportunities, which explore the role of artists from across the world. Located on Gateshead quayside, BALTIC has 2,600 square metres of exhibition space making it the UK’s largest gallery dedicated to the art and artists of today and tomorrow.

BALTIC welcomes visitors free of charge to experience art, talks, performance and activities in a fully accessible building. Over 8 million have been welcomed through its doors since July 2002. Digitally, BALTIC received 223,760 online visits and engagements across podcasts, virtual exhibitions, online events and family activity/making videos over the last year.

We are looking for a creative and experienced Digital Marketing & Insights Manager to develop digital marketing strategies that support BALTIC’s business objectives and commercial advantage for BALTIC’s online shop.

You will have responsibility for managing e-marketing, paid advertising and creating content for BALTIC Shop’s platforms alongside optimising the performance of BALTIC’s website(s) and digital campaigns. You will have a passion and interest in contemporary culture and a real flair for inspiring engagement through social and digital marketing activity. You will manage the integration and efficiency of customer databases and audience insight to build a rounded picture of analytics and data-driven evidence to inform ongoing digital marketing activity.
