Following in the long tradition of artists experimentation with new technologies, the London based gallery has led a pioneering programme of exhibitions since 2013. From web-based work to immersive multimedia installations including Virtual and Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Generated Images and 3D printing, arebyte commissions and supports multiple voices in digital cultures across the UK and internationally.

In addition to its programme of exhibitions, the organisation nurtures the development of creative digital skills through a learning programme with hands-on digital making workshops for participants of all ages.

At the forefront of today’s digital art scene, arebyte Gallery fosters a young and inclusive community, and offers an inspiring place to explore emerging media art.

The role

arebyte is looking for a freelance Communications Manager to lead on communications strategy and promote arebyte’s exhibitions and learning programme, including social channels, direct marketing and PR.

You will be experienced in managing integrated communications for arts organisations, creating compelling content across all channels as well as PR opportunities for arebyte’s activities.

This role is on a freelance basis, with a remuneration based on a day rate between £120 and £150 depending on experience, and an estimated number of 5 days per project (10 projects throughout the year on average). This is a flexible role with a few days at the gallery when needed and possibility to work from home. You will need to have your own laptop and software.
