Araceli Espinoza Mead

Araceli Espinoza Mead (she/her/ella) has 15 years of experience in the expanded learning field, directly serving children and youth from Los Angeles and Oakland.

In Araceli’s previous role at Partnership for Children and Youth, she provided statewide technical assistance for after-school, summer, and out-of-school program planning to various districts and community-based organizations.

She has presented at BOOST, CAN’s Site Coordinator Summit, National Art Education Association Convention, and California Art Education Association Convention. As Associate Manager for Youth and Families at the Lucas Museum, Araceli concentrates on multigenerational, early childhood and teen engagement during out of school time.

Engaging and Evaluating Audiences with The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is under construction in Los Angeles. While we build, Education staff have been leaning in and listening to our future audiences through a formative evaluation Roundtable program. The Roundtable initiative hosts focus groups, community listening sessions, and classroom-based activities, with the goal of designing seamless and engaging museum-school programs.
