Bashayer Alkhoori

Bashayer AlKhoori is a museum education Officer at Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation and background in Art History from Zayed University, Abu Dhabi.

She has experience in developing and leading engaging content, workshops, and programmes for wide range audiences such as Book an Easel, Drawing at the Museum, and Space Camp.

Her passion is to inspire the young minds and to provide a space for them to harness their creativity using the museum’s collection.

Play at the Heart of Space Camp

Discover how Louvre Abu Dhabi placed play at the heart of Space Camp and used role-play strategies to create interactive experiences to engage young people with STEAM.

During the summer, over 80 Young Astronauts, aged 8-12, took part in the ultimate Space Camp connected to the Children Museum’s latest adventure, Picturing the Cosmos! Space Camp challenged the Young Astronauts to develop teamwork, leadership, and decision-making skills through informal engagement with art, science, and technology.

Life skills are essential to sustain living in space for long periods of time, and during Space Camp, the Young Astronauts developed communication strategies, focus, and discipline through play, collaboration, problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity.
