Caragh May O’Mahony

Caragh May O’Mahony studied Archaeology & History at University College Cork, graduating in 2015 with an MA in Museum Studies. She has worked in several museums such as The Independence Museum Kilmurry, The Hunt Museum, Cork Public Museum and has been a member of the learning & Community Team at the National Museum of Ireland since 2018.

Caragh joined the Irish Community Archive Network (iCAN) as a Programme Assistant in 2024 and is passionate about making history and heritage accessible, and providing people with right knowledge, tools and skills so they can make their own meaningful connections with the past.

The Irish Community Archive Network (iCAN) supports local volunteers to collect, preserve, and share their histories online.
