Caroline Marcus Associates

Caroline Marcus is a leading museum learning and engagement consultant.

With a rich 30-year background in the cultural sector, she has significant experience as a producer, programmer and changemaker.

In a dual capacity, she serves as a Senior Lecturer for the MA programme, Museums & Galleries in Education at the Institute of Education, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society, and as the Head of Caroline Marcus Associates, a consultancy dedicated to museum learning and engagement. Presently, she presides as Chair of Trustees for the Group for Education in Museums (GEM).

Her past positions encompass Director of Takeover Day at Kids in Museums, Head of Learning at the Jewish Museum in London, Access Officer and Curator of Take One Picture at the National Gallery. Caroline evaluates for the Sandford Awards for Heritage Education.
