Chantal Lefeber is Head of ICT at Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (KMSKA), where she leads the museum’s digital transformation and oversees ICT strategy, infrastructure, and innovation.

Chantal is passionate about bridging technology and culture, helping museums improve both their internal operations and public-facing digital experiences. She works closely with teams across the museum to ensure that innovation supports accessibility, sustainability, and meaningful engagement with audiences.

At KMSKA, we investigated new ways to connect with audiences beyond the traditional museum visitor. In this presentation, we highlight two projects: Museum Mysteries and the Studio Rubens project. Both initiatives explore how storytelling, interaction and co-creation can engage younger generations and non-traditional visitors. Our aim is to make the museum experience more accessible, relevant and inspiring for everyone.
