As a native of Antwerp with an educational background in both ICT and visual arts, it was only a matter of time before Claudio Carreon ended up at the KMSKA.

With a keen interest in new technologies, he leapt at the chance to learn more about the current AI developments and possibilities. Combining the typical tasks you’d come to expect from an IT department with the deep dive into a new development stack proved to be challenging but very rewarding.

At KMSKA, we investigated new ways to connect with audiences beyond the traditional museum visitor. In this presentation, we highlight two projects: Museum Mysteries and the Studio Rubens project. Both initiatives explore how storytelling, interaction and co-creation can engage younger generations and non-traditional visitors. Our aim is to make the museum experience more accessible, relevant and inspiring for everyone.
