Dr. Chantal Eschenfelder

Dr. Chantal Eschenfelder, with a background in art history, German studies, and American studies, has extensive experience in cultural institutions. She’s been dedicated to making art and culture accessible to all.

In her current role, she’s involved in the digital adaptation of art education strategies.

She’s also led the Digital Collection team since 2013 and won the Grimme Online Award in 2015 for the Monet exhibition’s Digitorial.

Art and technology for the well-being of dementia patients: the digital approach of Artemis

ARTEMIS Digital aims to enhance the emotional well-being and quality of life for people with dementia and strengthen the relationship between individuals with dementia and their caregivers. To achieve this, an innovative art-based web application designed for this specific target audience will be developed, implemented, and evaluated. This application will be accessible both in private settings (care facilities or at home) and within the museum.
