Dr Richard Hornsey is speaking at the Digital Exhibitions Summit 2024:
This presentation will share how a unique and engaging visitor experience using a telepresence robot tour guide was created at the Boots Counter Culture exhibition in the Djanogly Gallery, Nottingham, UK.
As robots become more prevalent in public spaces, it is important to understand the perspectives and experiences of the diverse range of people in those spaces and examine interactions with and around robots.
The panel will explain how the tour was designed and prepared, covering the lessons learned preparing and delivering the event, and highlight points to consider when developing a robot tour experience.
