Drew Lusher

Drew Lusher is the Public Programs and Community Partnerships Manager at the Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk, where he works at the intersection of interdisciplinary arts engagement, lifelong learning, and dynamic community building. In practice, that means designing programs that leverage institutional resources to be responsive and relevant to community needs and cultivating partnerships that make the museum more accessible, sustainable, engaging, and human.

A classical musician by training, an educator by profession, and a current PhD student in public policy, his work focuses less on learning about art and more on learning through art, helping people appreciate the power of the arts to cultivate stronger communities and make us better humans.
