Ebelin Boswinkel

Ebelin Boswinkel is head of Education and Exhibits in Museum Speelklok (Utrecht, The Netherlands). Ebelin has a background in education and marketing and has worked for several large cultural institutions like Artis Zoo and Rijks museum (Amsterdam) and The Royal Library (The Hague). In Museum Speelklok Ebelin always tries to find new and unexpected ways to tell the story of the museum.

This museum is filled with cheerful music machines that all have magical mechanics inside. These instruments play old songs and the latest hits to the visitors every day! During the pandamic the museum developed a Roadshow (a tiny museum on wheels) and the game in Roblox is the latest and totally cool way to reach people outside of the museum! Museum Speelklok is the first museum in The Netherlands that launches a game in Roblox.

In the first month it already has been played by 300.000 kids!

Launched in March 2025 and already attracting over 300,000 players, the experience will soon expand into the physical realm through interactive museum installations featuring touchscreens.
