Em Blamey is the Creative Lead for the Australian National Maritime Museum (ANMM). She relishes the challenge of presenting a subject through hands-on interaction, and creating exhibits that are intuitive, appealing, durable and safe.
Em’s been at the Maritime Museum since April 2013. Before that she spent two and a half years at the Australian Museum, Sydney and 12 years at Questacon in Canberra, developing exhibitions on a wide range of topics. Particular favourites were MiniQ for 0-6 year olds, Sea Monsters and Brickwrecks.
