Florent Gilard

SAOLA Studio’s co-founder and CEO, Florent Gilard, is also a film producer and worked for 13 years with Yann Arthus-Bertrand and the GoodPlanet Foundation on producing motion picture projects.

Between 2012 and 2015, he was the artistic producer of the feature-length documentaries Human and Legacy.

After setting up the subsidiary of a Californian startup specializing in state-of-the-art medical imagery between 2016 and 2018, Florent returned to activist filmmaking, supporting Wild Immersion’s VR 360 productions.

Open to the public in 2019 at Paris’s Jardin d’Acclimatation, this virtual reality experience aims to raise consciousness about protecting biodiversity.
