Georgia Haseldine

From Sheffield and now based in east London, Georgia Haseldine is an artist, researcher and public engagement practitioner. She is currently Senior Curator of the V&A East Storehouse, a radically reinvented collections store that will offer visitors unprecedented access to the V&A’s collection of art, design and performance as well as offer a behind-the-scenes encounter with the museum, its services and activities.

Inspiring creativity with Gen Z

Newly opened to five-star reviews, V&A East Storehouse offers unprecedented access to over 250,000 objects from our national collection. In this talk we will explore Storehouse as a sourcebook for design – providing inspiration for emerging artists and designers. Based in east London, one of the creative hubs of the country, we will share how we have provided spaces for Gen Z to express their creativity through contemporary events, an embedded youth collective programme, making workshops, and supporting their museum and creative careers.
