Gill Raymond is the Director, Digital Production for the National Portrait Gallery on Ngunawal land in Canberra.
In a vain attempt to avoid following in her computer-programming parents’ footsteps, Gill stubbornly decided to pursue Art History and Curatorship.
Inevitably she gave in to dark (digital) side of the arts world, and has spent the past 20 years producing, curating and driving innovative digital programs focused on design, interpretation and access.
She developed and produced the Portrait Stories digital films project and instigated the Gallery’s online exhibition program, for which she has curated a series of exhibitions.
