Three Ways Into The Heroic Operation Gunnerside

A new Exhibition in the Norsk Industriarbeidermuseum in Rjukan is dedicated to the heavy water sabotage mission during WWII, “Operation Gunnerside.” Visitors can step into the heroic 1943 attack, which successfully destroyed the heavy water cells in the Heavy Water Cellar, hindering the Nazi nuclear program. Three digital augmented experiences allow the visitor to immerse themselves into the attack itself, the reason for attacking the plant in the first place and into the dilemma’s they faced on the way.
