Welcome to The Time Lab at Wordsworth Grasmere: a space for exploring time through creativity. In conversation with William Wordsworth’s great poem ‘The Prelude’, artist Stacey Joy Rossouw is exploring themes of time and memory. In 2025, we’re inviting our visitors to connect with Wordsworth’s poetry, themselves and each other, contributing to an evolving artwork that maps the flow of time and memory. It’s a unique chance to see how personal stories can mingle with poetic history, creating something entirely new.
