Hanne Elsrud has an MA in Art and Design, and a long-time experience in digitization and technology. Her personal passion for sustainability has driven her to focus on how to implement the green factors as a natural substance in any of the museum’s activities.
She leads the processes for implementing sustainability across the museums units and is reporting on and facilitating activities to strengthen the museums environmental work.

Built for the Future
In June 2021, the new National Museum in Oslo opened to the public. Planned and built for over a decade, the building is constructed with sustainability and care for the environment in mind.
