John is the Senior Content Planner at the National Gallery, London. He and his team make and publish content for the Gallery’s website and social media.
John is focused on developing new content formats that help make the Gallery and its collection more accessible to a wider audience. In the past year, he has developed new content formats that could be produced remotely during lockdown and has developed new forms of revenue-generating content such as paid-for tours of the Gallery’s five-star exhibitions ‘Artemisia’ and ‘Titan: Love, Desire, Death’.
Before working at the National Gallery, John has led content teams at Historic Royal Palaces and the Royal Institute of British Architects.
