Josh David-Read

Josh David-Read is a Community Engagement and Volunteer Officer for Museum Wales | Amgueddfa Cymru working in the National Waterfront Museum. Josh manages the Graft Garden, a community project that converted unused green space into an edible garden, built by and co-managed with the community. Josh also runs other projects on site.

Graft Garden – Alternative Museum Engagement

The Graft garden has been created and is maintained by our team of community participants who meet every Friday. We work with many groups across the city, old and young work alongside each other to learn new skills such as growing, crafts, cooking, beekeeping and woodwork. Here new friendships are formed and confidence is gained.
