Joyce Ma, PhD, is a Principal Researcher at the Exploratorium, a museum of science, art and human perception in San Francisco, California.
Her work involves characterising the visitor experience in order to inform exhibit and program development and better understand the nature of informal learning.
Joyce is interested in bringing her background in the learning sciences and in EECS to studying and developing ways of using advance technologies, including machine learning, biotech, and data visualisation to support learning in museums.
