The Future Simulator, how to make a great idea work and what to avoid

The future simulator is a real time voting system to create the climate future of our planet. Supported by AI-generated images questions of climate relevant topics like mobility and land usage are posed to up to 40 people in the room. The audience literally votes with their feet by placing themselves in the room according to the chosen option. In the end comes a future scenario based on the choices people have made. Nobody in the organisation had the expertise to turn this idea into reality and we paid a lot of learning money to finally get the simulator running and woven into the museum diary for education programmes etc. Technical, organisational and legal problems will be discussed to showcase what you have to consider in such projects.
