Kate Whittington

Kate Whittington is Exhibitions and Interpretation Manager at the Natural History Museum, London, where she has worked across a range of temporary, permanent and touring exhibitions.

With a background in environmental science and 11 years’ experience in science communication, Kate is driven by her passion for storytelling and the power it has to nurture relationships with the natural world and engender a sense of stewardship for our planet.

Prior roles have covered a range of mediums and audiences, including science web content at the Royal Institution, digital interactive development at Kingdom London, and even a short stint at the BBC Science Radio Unit.

Her recent highlights at the NHM include reconstructing the life of the world’s biggest dinosaur for the Titanosaur exhibition, and exploring the parallels been real and imagined creatures in Fantastic Beasts: The Wonder of Nature.
