Kelly Williams

Kelly Williams (she/her) has worked in the arts and cultural sector for over 25 years. Currently, she serves as the Director of Youth and K-12 Programs at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.

In this role, she is responsible for designing and implementing equitable, imaginative programs for young people and the adults who support them.

Kelly’s previous work includes spearheading school partnerships at the Getty Museum, managing the Discovery Center at LA County’s Natural History Museum, leading community and distance learning programming at the Cleveland Museum of Art, and teaching in English and Italian at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection.

Kelly holds a MS in Educational Leadership from Bank Street College and a BA in Studio Art from Connecticut College.

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is under construction in Los Angeles. While we build, Education staff have been leaning in and listening to our future audiences through a formative evaluation Roundtable program. The Roundtable initiative hosts focus groups, community listening sessions, and classroom-based activities, with the goal of designing seamless and engaging museum-school programs.
