Lauren Siegel

Lauren is the Director of MathHappens Foundation which has worked with museums and informal educators since 2014 to incorporate mathematics programming in arenas of all kinds outside of school.

Lauren has a mathematics degree from University of Chicago and teaching credential from University of Texas at Austin.

With five years of experience heading the mathematics department at a k-12 school and six years as director of MathHappens Lauren brings an approach to content integration that involves cultural, community and institutional fit, as well as best practices in both museum and mathematics education.
