Liz Neely is a human-centered digital strategist focused both on the formation of engaging experiences for museum audiences and on the design of sustainable organizational workflows for museum teams.
At the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, she leads an initiative to connect and publish collections data as linked data and curated the Museum’s first immersive exhibition, Seeing Beyond/Ver más allá, which used responsive light projections to give viewers a new perspective on Georgia O’Keeffe’s ways of seeing.
Neely participates in field-wide discussions regarding the role of museums in society, most recently as part of the Transforming Museum Experience cohort convened by the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum (2021).
She has served on various boards including serving as president of the MCN board of directors 2015-2016. Neely sits on the curatorial team at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum.
