Mari Morgan

Mari Morgan is a Learning Officer at Amgueddfa Cymru’s National Slate Museum, where she supports schools and community groups to learn about the rich history and culture of the North Wales slate landscapes and the people who lived there.

She is also a freelance musician and facilitator, and with a background in creative community activities, she encourages a creative and participatory approach to cultural engagement.

The National Slate Museum in Llanberis, North Wales, is currently closed for redevelopment. Before we closed the doors in November 2024, we invited local schoolchildren to co-create a VR Digital Time Capsule that captured their perceptions and memories of the site at that moment in time. Join us to learn about the digital technology, the process, and what we learnt along the way to creating a meaningful and fun digital experience.
